CH29 Kimberlite (PHASE 4)

CH-29 Kimberlite

This kimberlite was discovered via core drilling in the summer 2010 exploration program.
This kimberlite is diamondiferous.

A total of 2 drillholes were completed for a total length of 357 metres.


Excerpt: (August 4th, 2010)

"The CH-29, CH-30 and CH-32 kimberlites were discovered by drilling magnetic geophysical anomalies with estimated surface expressions of 0.5 to 1.0 hectare. At each of the discoveries, two inclined holes were drilled across the kimberlite from the same setup. CH-29 is represented by a magnetic low anomaly, and CH-30 and CH-32 are associated with magnetic high anomalies."

Caustic results: (Feb. 22, 2011)

"The discovery of the CH-29 and CH-32 kimberlites was announced on August 4, 2010. At both of these discoveries, two inclined holes were drilled across the kimberlite. CH-29 is associated with a magnetic low anomaly and CH-32 a magnetic high anomaly, both having estimated surface expressions of 0.5 to 1.0 hectare."

This produced 26 diamonds over a 201.7 kg sample.
It has a nice distribution of those 26 diamonds over a significant portion of the sieves.
Of note, 2 of the stones did land on the commercial sieve of 0.85 mm's...and the size was enough to generate a carat count of 0.02 carats.
This gives a grade of 0.1 cpt or 10 cpht.

This kimberlite is at least 0.5 hectares in size and at registers a commercial grade of 10 cpht in a small sample and it looks like the population curve will continue into the bigger stones with larger tests being done.

This will have further testing and will get a DMS sample done once they get one onsite.
This will be a later phase kimberlite (phase 4) and will be confirmed later to include or exclude out of an extended mine plan.
