Located
within the Southern Priority Area, between CH-7 & CH-44. Having a surface
expression of 0.3 hectares is CH-45. To date only a few samples have been
collected from this kimberlite representing a total weight of just 540kg, which
have returned a combined 0.36 carats representing a potential
0.66carat-per-tonne grade. This is currently a target for further exploration
and is seen as being able to potentially add tonnage to increase mine life
after CH-6, CH-7 and CH-44 are depleted.
Stage of
Exploration: 540kg total samples, microdiamond results, target for further
exploration/mini-bulk sample
